Proposal Photoshoot for Aldo and Shayna

Aldo, brimming with excitement, reached out to me with a special request to capture the perfect moment during their trip to New York City over Memorial Weekend. He was eager to propose to Shayna, and create a truly unforgettable experience.

Aldo expressed his admiration for a photo taken at Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO, featuring a picturesque proposal. He longed to recreate that magical moment. His goal was to make this event exceptional and etch it into their memories forever.

Avoiding crowds was a top priority for Aldo. Well, in warm seasons, early mornings are the best times to enjoy the beauty of the Brooklyn Bridge and other locations without other people. Aldo told Shayna that he read online about watching the sunrise in that specific area of NYC, as it was known for its breathtaking views. He said her that they should experience it together. Although Aldo had never suggested watching a sunrise before, he assumed Shayna would catch on to the proposal plans. Regardless, he knew she would be exited and pleased.

The much-anticipated day arrived, and the couple arrived at the designated location. Aldo, filled with nerves and love, uttered his heartfelt words to Shayna, and her answer was “Yes!”

Aware of Shayna’s love for photography, Aldo had planned for an extended session of 2.5 hours, allowing us ample time for a post-proposal photoshoot in another location. Together, we decided that the second spot would be Shayna’s choice. After completing the shoot in DUMBO, Shayna perused the photos of suggested locations and selected the iconic Grand Central Station as their next backdrop.
