Prepare to be swept away by the enchanting tale of John’s secret proposal to Meredith. Determined to create a truly memorable moment, John chose the iconic Central Park as the backdrop for his proposal. However, he had a special request for a more secluded location, as he wanted the moment to be intimate and uninterrupted.
Understanding his desire for privacy, I presented John with several highly exclusive locations, complete with addresses and visual references to help him make an informed decision. After consideration, he chose the hidden landing. To add a touch of ambiance, John requested electronic candles to set the mood.
On the day of the proposal, I arrived half an hour early to set up the scene. I carefully arranged the candles and adorned the bushes with delicate led-lights, ensuring the area remained undisturbed. Finally, the moment arrived as John led Meredith down the stairs, to ask the question that would change their lives. And she said “Yes!”
Following the magical proposal, we swiftly captured post-proposal photos in the park. As we exited the park, we also took the opportunity to capture a few shots on the West Side, near the steps of the neighboring houses.

I booked a shoot because we live in New York and I wanted to do a Central Park engagement shoot. Mary did an amazing job of setting the scene and getting great photos not just at the location of the proposal but also in multiple locations near the proposal.
