About me
Hello there!
My name is Mary, and I’m a professional photographer based in New York.
I’m a Siberian girl, born and raised. In 2013, I moved to St. Petersburg to study at a university, and in 2018, I started a new chapter in my life by moving to the USA.
I find inspiration in people and the vibrant moments of their lives. I love being part of significant events and creating connections with my clients, whether it’s a headshot or a memorable occasion.
Photography has always been a significant part of my life, thanks to my father, who was a photographer himself and sparked my interest in photography. I’ve been exploring photography all my life, from watching videos and taking courses to even attending a class on the history of photography at university. However, it wasn’t until the end of 2019 that I decided to give myself the chance to become a full-time photographer, and I’m happy that I made that decision.
My photography style is a blend of lifestyle, candidness, cinematic aesthetics, and editorial flair. I prefer to adapt my style to suit my clients, ensuring each shoot is unique and personalized. During photoshoots, I strive to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for my clients, allowing them to feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera.
Outside of photography, I draw strength and inspiration from nature, travel, road trips, old-style music, books, fantastical or comedic films, art, delicious food, cherished loved ones, and moments of solitude spent with myself.
